- Be familiar with different dental presentations seen in practice, including abnormal dentition, tooth fractures and malocclusion problems
- Confidently assist with planning and monitoring a general anaesthetic for dentistry with particular reference to airway security, avoiding hypothermia and treating hypotension
- Understand analgesia options for dentistry: including what drugs we could utilise, how and why we would want to use them and when we may need to avoid some of them
- Plan post-operative care for the dental patient
