Terms and conditions

  • Places on the courses are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
  • The contract between Central CPD and you, the delegate, starts once we send you the ‘booking’ email confirming your order. However, your place is only confirmed once we have received payment, either by cheque, BACS or online payment.
  • Reserved places must be paid in full at least four weeks before the course date.
  • You have the right to cancel your booking within 7 working days of the order date. We must receive the cancellation in writing followed by a telephone call to ensure the cancellation notice has been received. If you meet these requirements you will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations received after 7 working days but at least 28 days before the course date will receive a refund less 20%. Cancellation must be received in writing followed by a telephone call to ensure the cancellation notice has been received.
  • Cancellations received less than 28 days before the course will not be refunded, and in most cases, rescheduling will not be possible. Central CPD cannot assume liability for delegate non-attendance resulting from adverse weather conditions, travel delays, or illness.
  • Course bookings cannot be transferred between delegates without prior consent from Central CPD Ltd.
  • Central CPD Ltd reserves the right to change the course speaker, course content specifics, date and venue of the courses.
  • Central CPD Ltd shall be under no liability if unable to carry out a course for any reason beyond it’s control including (without limiting the foregoing) Act of God, Legislation, war, fire, flood, drought, failure of power supply, lock-out, strike or other action taken by suppliers or owing to any inability to procure materials required for the course to go ahead. Central CPD Ltd will aim to give delegates as much notice as possible, and the course will be rearranged to take place at the earliest convenience. If a delegate is unable to attend the new date, credit will be given for the cost of the course. Credit can be used for any attendance course within 18 months, or online at Central CPD On Demand.
  • If it is necessary to cancel a course delegates will receive a full refund of course fees, but Central CPD Ltd will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by the delegate including travel and accommodation expenses.
  • Central CPD Ltd reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions and the contents, prices and information provided on this website at any time and without notice.
  • The terms and conditions, prices and other information apply as displayed on the website at the time of use and time that you place your order.
  • Central CPD Ltd is not responsible for the content of external websites linked from central cpd or vet-eCPD pages.
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Central CPD Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time.
  • Central CPD Ltd are compliant with the data protection act.
  • We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

 

Membership Terms and Conditions

  • Membership costs £795 per year for a vet and £495 per year for a vet nurses. Practice membership package prices vary depending on the number of vets and nurses signed up.
  • Benefits of membership include free access to attendance theory courses, free access to Central CPD On-Demand, half price practical attendance courses and priority booking for new practical courses.
  • External courses run by Securos, Silver Academy packages, and the Vet Graduate Academy are excluded from the membership package.
  • Delegates need to have an active membership at the time of booking and at the time of attending the course to be eligible for membership prices.
  • If a delegate needs to cancel an theory attendance course booking, they must cancel the booking at least 14 days in advance. Failure to provide 14 days notice for non-attendance will restrict delegates from booking any future courses more than two weeks ahead. For practical attendance course bookings, our Cancellation Policy will apply.
  • Bookings must be made for the member only. Any non-members attending a course in the member’s place will be invoiced for the full course cost.
  • Membership will renew automatically after one year unless cancelled in advance of the membership anniversary.
  • Members will get up to two weeks’ priority booking for all new practical courses.
