Rosie graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2010 and spent the first three years of her career in mixed practice in the Peak District. Following this, Rosie undertook an equine internship at University College Dublin. During the next two years, Rosie enjoyed a Thoroughbred stud season in Ireland, spent time with foals in Australia, and undertook locum and permanent positions in equine practice in the UK. Between 2016 and 2019, Rosie completed a residency in Equine Internal Medicine at the University of Liverpool, completing her CertAVP(EM) during this time. Rosie then spent a year in an equine clinic in Northumberland, seeing a range of cases from first opinion emergencies to internal and external medicine referrals and supporting younger colleagues’ clinical development. Rosie has recently joined the medicine team at Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic, where she sees cases both in the hospital and on the road. In her free time, Rosie enjoys wild swimming, training her rescue staffie Sonic and relaxing with a good book.
