The Vet Graduate Academy Gold Package is a clinically-focused graduate scheme which complements the RCVS VetGDP and will support your transition into practice through practical attendance courses combined with industry-leading online learning.
Small group tuition, taught by leading specialists, will allow you to develop competence and dexterity in a range of clinical skills and surgical techniques, whilst our bespoke online training programmes, video reference library and clinical case discussions will support you to approach practice life confidently.

Description
Practical sessions
- Surgery
Two days of small group practical training covering basic surgical skills and more advanced abdominal surgeries. - Dentistry
A full day of practical dentistry with pre-course learning allowing you to maximise time in the wet lab learning extraction techniques and dental radiography. - Abdominal Ultrasound
A highly practical and interactive day designed to develop skills in abdominal ultrasonography.
Online sessions
- Six online clinical case discussions with RCVS or EBVS® European specialists, covering common presentations seen in first opinion practice and how to best approach them. A chance to bring up cases you have encountered in practice and get valuable insight into strategies for management of them.
- 50 hours of tailored training programmes, in online video format, that are designed to support you in developing competence with your VetGDP EPAs. To be completed over a year (equivalent to less than one hour a week).
- Training programmes can be watched anytime, anywhere, and in any order, giving complete control and flexibility with learning pace and area.
- Unlimited access to Central CPD On-Demand's comprehensive library of over 2,500 videos for two years - giving you two year's of CPD for just £3,500!
- Access to an active clinical discussion group with over 5,000 members.
