This one-day practical course will cover machine set up, which probe to use and how to optimise the image to make sure you can get the best out of your machine in practice. Delegates will learn how to evaluate and recognise the normal thoracic structures with ultrasound and how to interpret any abnormalities observed.
This is a practical course that will give delegates the confidence to perform diagnostic thoracic ultrasound in practice on a wide variety of cases.

- The ultrasound machine - how to use the machine to its best effect.
- Familiarising yourself with the normal in order to recognise the abnormal.
