Description
There is great scope for successfully running a wide variety of nurse consults in practice, from the more traditional weight and dental clinics, through to consults for chronic osteoarthritis and newly diagnosed diabetics. Consult skills, creating rapport and client compliance can be incredibly daunting for those who have not had much experience in this area.
General tips for consultations including communication styles will be covered as well as how to run successful consultations for specific health conditions and preventative care.
Topics covered include:
- How different communication styles work in different situations
- Improving client compliance
- How to successfully run weight, dentistry, habituation and post-op clinics
- Introducing specific health condition clinics into your practice
