Lisa Pearce

DipAVN, RVN

Nurse Training Coordinator

I have been working in practice since 1999 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004 whist working in a small animal hospital in Berkshire. I moved to Surrey to embark on the referral side of veterinary practice in 2007. After a period of rotating through all disciplines, I became a dedicated theatre nurse in 2011 and achieved the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (DipAVN) in 2014. I enjoy all aspects of theatre nursing but have a passion for anaesthesia and teaching new members of the nursing team. I am lucky to work alongside excellent specialist surgeons and anaesthetists. Plus be involved in the anaesthesia and surgery for specialist cases, such as interventional cardiology and hip replacement as well as the day to day caseload.
