Happy Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month!

Posted 1 week ago

The month of May brings us the opportunity to celebrate the importance of veterinary nurses in practice, with an annual campaign that was originally started by the BVNA in 2005.

The theme for Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month 2022 is #OurProfessionMyResilience, which raises awareness of the crucial role that nurses play in practice and the wide array of jobs that nurses are involved in.

The BVNA are running numerous promotions this month with two competitions, a weekly webinar and downloadable assets all of which can be viewed here.

The College of Animal Welfare also have a supporting bank of Veterinary Nursing booklets and posters which can be accessed here.

Did you know…?

We have two online Central CPD Veterinary Academies aimed at supporting and upskilling veterinary nurses. Our Student Vet Nurse Academy focuses on aiding revision of essential practical skills, while our Nurse Refresh is designed for those returning to practice after a break, and offers extensive learning support to build confidence in all areas of clinical practice.
