Overview of the latest applications of synthetic implants in the treatment of tendon and ligament ruptures in dogs and cats, including Achilles , Patellar .Triceps tendon repair, round ligament, and cruciate ligament replacement.

Topics to be covered:

  • Achilles tendon repair in dogs & cats
  • Other applications of tendon repair: patellar, triceps.
  • Ligament reconstruction:
    • Extra-articular repair of collateral ligament injuries (stifle, elbow, tarsus..)
    • Extra-articular stabilization of CCLr using FiberTech and interference screws
    • Intra-articular: cranial and caudal cruciate repair

    • Get updated in the latest advancements in ligament reconstruction (background, theory, biomechanics, surgical techniques)
    • Get an overview of all the applications for NOVALIG® and NOVATEN® (Surgical techniques, case reports & publications) i.e., hip luxation, patellar/Achilles/triceps rupture repair.
    • Practice our surgical techniques on dry bone and cadavers.
