Dental disease is a common finding in practice and sadly, due to lack of confidence, training and enthusiasm, often inadequately treated. This highly practical two-day course will give delegates the tools and skills they need to go back into practice and treat these cases effectively. The focus will be on practical cadaver-based sessions rather than didactic lectures and is aimed at both recent graduates and those graduated some years ago.
Topics to be covered include:
- Dental Equipment – a revision of dental equipment and the correct way to use it
- Periodontal therapy- surgical and non-surgical treatments to help preserve teeth
- Dental Radiography
- Dental Nerve Blocks
- Surgical Principles of mucogingivoperiosteal flap creation
- Closed and open extractions – how to section and extract teeth, without stress.
