    This day of lectures with James Rushton is designed to give confidence in areas of ophthalmology that are commonly seen but challenging to deal with. The course will focus on areas specific to certain species and breeds so delegates can anticipate leaving the day with a robust repertoire of practical skills, ready to be integrated into their daily veterinary practice and enhancing the quality of care delivered to their patients.

    We will delve into the unique ocular challenges faced by brachycephalic dog breeds, offering comprehensive insights into diagnosis and management strategies. Exploring prevalent issues like eyelid conformation disorders, distichiasis, ectopic cilia, and corneal ulceration, attendees will gain invaluable knowledge on identifying and addressing these conditions effectively.

    Covering feline ocular health, we’ll examine common disorders, broadening the scope of understanding across different species. From diagnosis to treatment, participants will be equipped with the expertise to tackle ocular issues in cats with confidence.
