Young, energetic – and lame! This seven part learning series with Heidi Radke will help update your knowledge and approach to the lame adolescent dog in order to diagnose affected patients early and to improve long-term prognosis.

Early diagnosis is crucial, because of the risk of irreversible changes in the affected joint with delayed diagnosis. Clinical signs can be subtle, and are not always obvious to the owner, therefore the veterinarian has an important role in screening adolescent dogs, especially elbows, hips and knees for orthopaedic diseases.

This learning series discusses current practices to detect, assess, and manage canine developmental orthopaedic joint diseases in growing dogs.
